Finishes and colors are developed by thousands of different manufacturers for countless millions of products.  Every manufacturer selects their colors based on their perception of market need and design trends. There is no “standard” and variation between brands is expected – every manufacturer has their own take on what the right  color should be. This holds true for things like cars, paint, nail polish – you cant do nine nails with one brand of “red” and expect another brand of “red” to match.

Manufacturers do not consult each other on color choice. A Delta faucet color will not match a Kohler faucet color. In fact, Delta refers to their GOLD products as “Champagne Bronze” while Kohler has “Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass.”

To attempt to mix finishes from different faucet brands would prove very difficult in matching color, tone, and texture. The same goes for coordinating closet hardware: there is no guarantee a handle from “Supplier A” will come close to matching a pole from “Supplier B” – and that’s where TAG comes in.

TAG was created to ensure closet professionals had a complete product line of coordinating hardware to complement and enhance their closet designs. These colors and textures have been researched and developed by TAG to be the ideal tones and hues – not only for coordinating with each other – but for complimenting and enhancing the colors of the panel board, paint and lighting found in today’s closets.

TAG takes great pride in the Coordinated Hardware System as a differentiating solution to matching accessories in the closet and throughout the home.
