HOW TO INSTALL TAG HARDWARE PACKAGE FOR CABINET VISION
This Cabinet Vision Package is for version 2021 and above.
After downloading the TAG Hardware package, open Cabinet Vision and click the ‘Utilities menu’ and then select ‘Setup Package’. Click on the ‘Open Existing Package’ button and the Open Package screen will appear. Locate the TAG Hardware Package, select it and then click ‘Open’. Next, click the ‘Swap Between Creation and Import Modes’ button to switch to ‘Import mode’.

HOW TO INSTALL KCD SOFTWARE VERSION 10 | TAG HARDWARE LIBRARIES
After downloading the TAG Hardware Library, place it onto your Desktop. Ensure the file name ends with .kal. And simply restart KCD Software. The software will ask you to install the file. Click “yes” to finish the installation.
With the additional TAG Hardware products in KCD Software, you will likely need to update your retail pricing. View screen shots of the new Pricing Module and follow the instructions for editing your pricing into KCD Software.
HOW TO INSTALL KCD SOFTWARE VERSION 9 | TAG HARDWARE LIBRARIES
After downloading the TAG Hardware Library .zip file, open KCD Software and go to ‘File’ > ‘Back Up/Restore’ > ‘Restore KCD’. Click ‘Restore’ and ‘Browse’ for the downloaded file, click ‘Restore’.*
*We suggest making a backup of the existing libraries before using the new library.

EDIT PRICES IN KCD SOFTWARE
The first time you use this pricing module, you will need to edit the pricing from the factory default price of $9999.00.
- Open KCD Software pricing tab. Select tag hardware. Select edit.
- To set price per component, identify where to save TAG Hardware pricing (eg: desktop). Select TAG pricing library from Quick Load section to open (bottom right menu).
- In the opened TAG Hardware pricing library, double click the price to change. Save. Close.
In some cases, you may want to change the pricing from a charge “per item” to a charge “per length.”
To change to Price Per Foot, add “*W” after the price. EG: 6.00*W
To change to Price Per Inch, add “*W/12” after the price. EG: 0.50*W/12
* Note: W = width (by foot). W/12 = width divided into 12 inches.
